What Must Happen Before the Rapture

by Richard Billingsley
5/12/2015

There has been a lot of speculation and preaching that the Rapture of the Bride can happen at any moment.  But most do not realize is that Jesus declared that before He returns there must be a Final Restoration of understanding of scriptures.  That restoration is manifesting itself right now and it is showing us that many of the things we believe about the last days and the Rapture are based in interpretation of scriptures that violate very important commandments given by God warning us not to do the very things we did anyway, which corrupted our understanding of Bible Prophecy and blinded us for centuries.  Those who have been reading and following my teachings know the reasons for the things I teach.  But those who are new to this ministry probably haven’t taken the time to study why I teach these things.

The Final Restoration

This Final Restoration is going to shake much of the Church and as planned by God it is going to create a division.  A division between those who will cling to the traditions of men and those who will cling to the truth of the scriptures, those who seek after and desire to possess everything God has to offer and those who think their religion will save them.

Events before the Rapture

    1. A worldwide shaking will occur.  This will be both in the natural and spiritual realms.  Those who are prepared will be ready for this.  Those not prepared will get scared to death or scared to Jesus and either run and hide or shine like the righteous glory of God.
    2. A massive conversion of Jews accepting Jesus as Messiah will occur.
    3. The Temple MUST BE rebuilt.  Only the inner temple will be rebuilt.  Not the outer courts.
    4. The 10 nation caliphate must form.  Note: This is NOT the Revived Roman Empire.  There are absolutely no scriptures to support a Revived Roman Empire.  All such suspected scriptures are taken out of context and built upon assumptions that violate scriptural prophetic interpretation.
    5. The Beast (Antichrist) must appear.  He cannot appear until the 10 nation confederacy is formed.  One it forms he will appear suddenly with the help of a small group of supporters.  The Antichrist comes from the sea, meaning that he will come out of the peoples of the earth, not the governments.
    6. The Christians will do war against the Antichrist.  Christians expecting the Rapture to occur before this happens will be disillusioned and many will fall away because of this deceptive teaching.
    7. The False Prophet will rise to power.  The False Prophet (the second beast) comes out of the land, which means he comes from the governments or has a political background.  He will try to influence both Christians and Jews to follow and worship the first Beast (Antichrist).
    8. The True Gospel will be preached to all the world.  There will be a massive push in fighting against the Antichrist to reveal the things of the Final Restoration to the rest of the world.
    9. Babylon will begin to fall.  Babylon is not a city.  It is not Rome, nor related to the Roman Empire in any way.  It is the cultural foundation that everyone in this world lives under.  These foundations are:
      1. The Land and how we get and process food.
      2. Trading and how we do business.
      3. Lifestyle and how everyone lives their lives.
      4. Religion, whatever and however people worship.
      5. Understanding and how we learn and reason about anything.
      6.  Economy and how we value our lives.
      7. Government and how we take care of our people.

These are the seven foundation of any civilization and they are the seven judgments of the Tribulation.
    10. The Image of the Beast setup in the Temple.  This is not a cultural event, it is a literal and physical event that will occur at the same time that the Antichrist declares himself a god.  Jesus said when you see this happen to run for your lives.  After this happens there will be a period of 30 days during which time the Rapture will occur.
    11. The Rapture.  Those who have prepared themselves in advance by developing a close intimate relationship with Jesus will be taken in the Rapture.  Those who do not prepare themselves will be left behind to endure the Tribulation.  Remember the story of the 10 virgins?  Just because one is a Christian or says Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of God, but only those who do what He commands will be prepared for Him on this day.

After the Rapture

After the Rapture of the Bride there will be a short period of silence or calm because of the shock of what has just happened.  Those Christians who were left behind will be crying out for God to come and take them.  While the rest of the world will be thinking that those troubling Christians are finally and gone and now we can do what we have always dreamed of.

The Tribulation and The Return

The following 3 1/2 years will be nearly impossible to endure, but those who do endure to the end will be saved.

The book of Revelation is not one continuous story but actually seven stories told from different perspectives about the last days.  Four of those stories tell the same story and when studied in parallel they create a Tribulation of only 3 1/2 years (IE.  The 1st Trumpet and the 1st Bowl are the exact same event).  When studied in this way we also find that the Rapture is mentioned in three different stories and all three line up as the exact same event.  Shutting down the arguments for a Pre, Mid and Post Tribulation Raptures.  These and a multitude of other revelations can be found in other teachings on the Rich Insight Ministries website: www.richinsight.org

At the end of those 3 1/2 years Jesus will return and claim his possession of the Earth and the Judgment Seat of Christ will begin and last for 45 days.  Only those who have shown kindness will be allowed to enter in and the rest will be sent to Hell to await the Great White Throne judgment at the end of the Millennial period.
