Islamic Caliphate & The Antichrist

There has been a lot of news from the Middle East surrounding the announcement by the terrorist group ISIS and its leader Abu Mohamed al-Adnani that they have formed a Caliphate and have named it the Islamic State.  Most Muslim nations have rejected his pronouncement, but the importance of this action may just be the beginnings of prophetic fulfillment.  It could be that this Is this the beginning of the Antichrist’s kingdom and we need to know what the Bible has to say about it.

If you have been following this website you know that the popular culture never gets it right and the belief that the European Union is the kingdom of the Antichrist means they haven’t studied the Bible in parallel and still cling to a belief that ignores two very important commandments in the Bible that would easily prove that belief wrong.  In my book: Tell Them to Prepare – The Final Restoration I go through the Bible and history proving that the rise of the Antichrist’s kingdom must be the Islamic Caliphate and not some mythical Revived Roman Empire.  According to the Bible the origins of this Caliphate must emerge somewhere in the area around southern Turkey and northern Iraq and is the general location of the Northern Kingdom of the Grecian Empire from which the Antichrists kingdom must come, I wrote about this in the book over 15 years ago.  This announcement establishing the Caliphate, known as the Islamic State, has hit dead center in that area.  With that insight we have the foundation of a nation that could very well be the establishment of the kingdom that the Antichrist will eventually control, but this is going to take some time before it can be confirmed.

According to scriptures, before the Antichrist can appear and take control of his kingdom (the Caliphate), there must exist a 10 nation confederacy.  It is interested to note that the nations ISIS claims that it is going to possess spans more than 10 existing nations, but its plans are to remap those nations and establish a 13 Islamic Nation confederacy in that region within five years.  The map below actually shows a “remapping” of the borders that exist today into new nations to reform the Caliphate.

It is not clear if the Bible implies 10 conquered nations or that the Caliphate itself consists of 10 remapped nation states.  In either case the Antichrist cannot appear until the Caliphate controls 10 nations at the very least.  It is clear in the Bible that Egypt and Ethiopia will escape the control of the Antichrist until the end of the Tribulation at which time he will invade those countries, but news from the East will cause him to turn back and setup camp in the valley of Megiddo where he will meet his end in the battle of Armageddon ending with the return of Jesus.  All of this is studied out in the book.

The Bible tells us that the formation of the Caliphate will surprise everyone and if it’s beginning is any indication of its future it has surely lived up to that claim as it came out of basically nowhere and has captured a large area of Syria and northern Iraq.  But before the Antichrist can appear, it must consist of at least 10 nations.  Then after the Antichrist appears, the church will battle the Antichrist first.  This is clearly revealed in the book, “Tell Them to Prepare – The Final Restoration.”  By studying the book of Revelation in parallel, we discover that the Rapture cannot occur until after these things happens.  The book also exposes all the faulty logic that claims otherwise and why it does not fit within Bible context.  After the Church battles with the Antichrist then the Rapture will happen and there will be three and a half years of Tribulation before Jesus returns.

So, you have to ask yourself: Are You Prepared?  These last days are going to move fast and if you don’t have the right information you’re going to get confused with what is happening and get caught up in the deceptions that are going to be circulating.  The belief that the Church will be Raptured before the Antichrist appears does not exist anywhere in the Bible and the belief in a Seven-Year Tribulation can only exist by ignoring two explicitly detailed commandments from God.  I explain all of these things and more in the book: “Tell Them to Prepare – The Final Restoration,”  which can be purchased on Amazon Kindle.

As I always say the only sure protection from these things is to live in the LOVE of God and we do that by developing a close intimate relationship with Jesus.  Fall in LOVE with Him and let the Holy Spirit lead you.  He will never contradict the scriptures, but you must rightly divide the scriptures as well to be prepared.

Live in God’s Love!
